Professional Development Workshop for Teachers

Do you teach about population, the environment, or global issues? Are you looking for innovative ideas for incorporating population issues into your teaching? Our exciting professional development workshop uses participatory techniques and critical literacy to introduce teachers to the many ways to use Population in Perspective: A Curriculum Resource in the classroom. Participants explore population issues addressed in Population in Perspective and participate in activities that they can use in the classroom. All workshop participants will receive a free copy of Population in Perspective: A Curriculum Resource and professional development points (PDPs) may be available.
